What is Reviewstee?
Reviewstee is an independent platform where real crypto traders share their experiences with cryptocurrency exchanges. We collect and publish verified user reviews to help you make smarter decisions about where to trade. Learn more on our About page.
Is Reviewstee affiliated with any exchange?
No. We are 100% independent. We don’t represent, promote, or work for any exchange listed on the platform — including BitMEX, Bybit, OKX, HTX, or MEXC. Our only loyalty is to the trading community.
Is it free to read or submit reviews?
Yes, completely free. No subscription or registration required to browse reviews.
Submitting a Review
How do I write a review?
Go to the exchange page you want to review and click “Write a Review”. Fill in your rating and comment, then submit. You can also visit our dedicated Write a Review page for a quick start.
Do I need an account to leave a review?
No registration is required for basic submissions. However, creating a free account lets you edit your reviews, track your submissions, and delete them if needed.
Can I edit or delete my review after submitting?
Yes. Log in to your account, go to “My Reviews,” and you can edit or remove any review you’ve submitted at any time.
What should I include in my review?
The most helpful reviews are specific. Try to cover:
- How long you’ve been using the exchange
- Fees — deposit, trading, and withdrawal
- Speed and reliability of withdrawals
- Quality of customer support
- Security features and overall trust
- Any issues you encountered
Verification & Authenticity
Are reviews verified?
We use a combination of automated checks and manual moderation to detect fake, spam, or incentivized reviews. While we can’t verify every transaction on-chain, we apply strict filters to maintain platform integrity. More details are in our Moderation Policy.
Can exchanges pay to remove or hide negative reviews?
Absolutely not. No exchange can pay to remove, alter, or bury a review. All feedback — positive and negative — stays visible. This is a core principle of how Reviewstee works.
How is the overall rating calculated?
The overall rating shown on each exchange page (e.g., BitMEX: 4.8, OKX: 4.4) is a straight average of all verified user scores. We do not manually adjust ratings.
Removed or Rejected Reviews
Why was my review removed?
Reviews are removed only when they clearly violate our Moderation Policy. Common reasons include:
- Hate speech or abusive language
- Personal data (phone numbers, email addresses)
- Obvious spam or duplicate submissions
- Content that appears to be fake or commercially motivated
Can I appeal a removed review?
Yes. If you believe your review was removed by mistake, please reach out via our FAQ page or contact form. We review appeals within 2–3 business days.
Scams & Suspicious Exchanges
What do I do if I’ve been scammed by an exchange?
Submit a review describing your experience and mark the exchange as suspicious. Honest negative reviews protect other traders. We also recommend reporting the incident to your local financial regulator or relevant authorities.
Can I flag an exchange as potentially dangerous?
Yes. Inside your review, you can indicate that you believe the exchange acted dishonestly or caused financial harm. Our moderation team reviews flagged submissions as a priority.
